Many people here haven't heard of Oppo but the company is HUGE in China and it makes some seriously good phones.
The monolithic Oppo R9s impressed us a great deal but the Plus is a whole different beast. It's got a different processor, camera, screen and battery. It looks and feels different and yet it's rivalling the big boys at a much lower price.
Introducing the new Oppo R9s Plus
Here are some artful pictures. We'll have our full, in-depth review up in a few days. Let us know what you think and what you'd like to see from it. -
It's a high quality box and there are many goodies to be found in different parts of it.
-
The new phone has a 6-inch AMOLED screen. It's the biggest premium phone on the market.
-
Everything that comes with the phone.

The white and gold version looks pretty sweet. There's also a cool black version too. Notice the headphone jack!
-
View from the top. The camera is apparently enhanced for night mode. We've heard that before. We're looking forward to testing it.
-
Power button on one side, volume button on the other. We're fans of this layout.
-
The peel-off coating shows that the microSD card slot can also be used as a second SIM card slot.
-
Some peel pR0n for fans of this kind of thing.
-
Gold and monolithic.
-
Adding some more colour.
-
We're big fans of the clear, silicon case which offers protection, grip, lets the phone be seen and can be easily fitted/removed.
-
Inside is a massive 4,000mAh battery. If Oppo can use its usual optimisation on it that could last for days.
-
Side by side with HTC's flagship, the U Ultra. These, plus the Huawei Mate 9 are all big, flagship phablets. But which will be best?
