The AR.Drone connects to any Apple iPhone, iPad or iPod touch and uses the device's touchscreen and tilt sensors for control. Using a camera in the AR.Drone's front, you can view your surroundings through the controlling iPhone or iPad and guide the AR.Drone past obstacles.

The Parrot AR.Drone has a front-facing camera which displays video on the screen of the controlling Apple iPod, iPhone or iPad.

Using the downloadable iOS application, the Parrot AR.Drone is able to be controlled via touchscreen and tilt sensor input. If control is lost, the AR.Drone returns to a horizontal orientation and hovers.
