Acer's Ferrari Top Gear Live special -- only $1299

Harvey Norman to sell the flashy Ferrari notebook at an affordable price

  • It was definitely one of the most interesting cars at the show.

  • To coincide with the Top Gear Live show, Acer is offering its Ferrari One notebook for a special price of $1299 from Harvey Norman. It runs on the AMD Vision platform, which includes an AMD Athlon X2 L310 CPU and an ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics adapter. You also get 4GB of DDR2 SDRAM and a 500GB hard drive. It weighs 1.5kg and comes with a 6-cell battery.

  • It may not sound like a powerhouse configuration, but considering it's only an 11.6in notebook, it's a beast. You get the prancing horse logo on the lid and beautiful styling on the palm rest and keyboard. If you're a Ferrari fan, you'll definitely get a kick out of it.

  • Lamborghini detail.

  • The Army was there showing off its impressive street machine.

  • And now some of the other sights from the Top Gear Live show, including — you guessed it — more Ferraris.

  • It seemed that weren't as many cars on display at this year's show as there were at last year's.
