Acer launches new touch-screen monitor, notebooks

We take a look at the new range of stylish Acer touch-screen laptops, as well as a lightweight projector, a touch-screen LCD monitor and a desktop PC

  • Acer K10 projector: This lightweight LED projector has a lamp life of up to 20,000 hours. It weighs only 0.55kg and fits in your hand. It is priced from $1099.

  • The Aspire 5738PG has four USB ports, VGA, an HDMI port with HDCP support, an Ethernet port, a card reader and audio inputs and outputs. It also has a fingerprint reader.

  • Acer Aspire 5738DG: The new Aspire 5738DG is an Intel Centrino 2 notebook with Acer 3D CineReal so you can enjoy your favourite videos, DVDs and pictures with virtual 3D (including on the fly 2D-to-3D conversion). It is priced from $1999.

  • Acer T230H: Acer’s new multitouch LCD monitor features Full HD 1920x1080 resolution and an 80,000:1 contrast ratio. It is priced from $799.

  • Acer has unveiled a range of touch-screen products, just in time for the launch of Windows 7. The next-generation of Windows promises a greatly enhanced interface for touch-screen devices such as tablet PCs.

    Acer Aspire 5738PG: The Aspire 5738PG is a Centrino 2 laptop with a multitouch 15.6in monitor. It's priced from $1399.

  • The Aspire 5738PG includes a numpad which is sure to keep bean counters happy.

  • The Aspire Z5610 can, of course, be paired with a keyboard and mouse if you don't want to navigate through the OS with the touch screen.

  • Aspire Z5610: The Aspire Z5610 desktop PC features an Intel Core 2 Quad Processor, up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, up to 1TB of storage and a 23in Full HD multitouch display.
