    Price: $494

Sony’s new look PS3 is smaller, lighter and slimmer than the previous model — as well as being significantly cheaper at $499 RRP. If you were thinking of getting a gaming console, search around for the best deal and pick one up when it launches on 3 September. It's basically a compact camera with a huge range of manual controls that make it similar to a digital SLR in operation. Of course you can't change its lens like a D-SLR, but it comes with a versatile 5x zoom lens that's 28mm wide. You also get a huge 14.7-megapixel sensor. [[xref:|Digital Camera Warehouse]] has the PowerShot G10 for $625, which is $124 cheaper than when we first reviewed it in December 2008.
  • [[artnid:312166|LG Viewty Smart mobile phone]]

LG's Viewty Smart is an excellent 8-megapixel camera phone and the S-Class UI is rich and engaging. Online purchasers will also receive $50 credit free!
