Our favourite Internet radio stations

Despite offering inferior quality to non-streamed music, Internet radio offers fantastic diversity and convenience at the click of a button. We asked our staff which stations they listen to.

MySpace Music: The Nation Blue — It is not strictly Internet radio, but the MySpace Music Web site has a vast range of minor and major bands hoping to gain some recognition — along with all the hideous page layouts synonymous with the social-networking site. On the plus side you can check out some tunes by The Nation Blue: an awesome Melbourne-based band.
  • David Ramli, Technical Journalist

  • Campbell Simpson, Technical Journalist

Absolute Xtreme — When you’re up at 4am, it is nice to have some dulcet British tones keeping you awake. Absolute Xtreme plays the most popular music off the UK charts, 24/7.
