Roogoo Twisted Towers
Roogoo Twisted Towers is set in the world of Roo, where an evil prince is ruling with the powers of magical meteors
Pros
- Easy controls, original puzzle game, many levels
Cons
- Repetitive gameplay and sound, you lose interest in game play very easily
Bottom Line
Overall, RooGoo Twisted Towers adds a unique perspective to the puzzle genre for the Wii, but it lacks the exciting and addictive nature of puzzle games. The gameplay is very repetitive and after the first level you've pretty much seen the entire game. I would definitely recommend renting this title before purchase, as most players will be disappointed by the repetitiveness.

Remember the childhood toy where you put the shapes in the bucket by placing the correct shape with the correct hole? RooGoo Twisted Towers takes the concept to a whole new level by adding a storyline and villains to the mix.
The setting is in the world of Roo, where an evil prince is ruling with the powers of magical meteors. Roo was once a place with many creatures lived happily by the magical meteors. All that changed when some evil Roogoos corrupted the meteors and became the evil Meemoos. The object of the game is to save the planet for the Meemoos by guiding the magical meteors down to the Planet Roo and to restore its former glory.
Each level gets more difficult as you progress with flipping platforms, reversing pieces, accelerating speeds, and not to mention longer levels. The only problem is that even though the game consists of over 100 levels, you pretty much have the idea within the first level - drop the shape into the correct area.
The controls to the game are very simple and easy to pick up. The majority of the controls consist of using the B and Z button to move the land mass left or right to guide the meteors to the correct area.
The graphics include bright and colourful designs with cute teddy bear like creatures, which gives it a fairy tale like feel. The puzzles and levels are fairly simple and basic, while the sound keeps the light and cute feel. But just like the gameplay, the sound quickly becomes repetitive.
