Our client, a large complex government agency, are currently seeking a Change Manager to join a newly created project team for the implementation of a Learning and Professional Development Operating Model to achieve the following outcomes;

  • The design and implementation of the strategy and operating principles required to support the establishment of the Learning and Professional Development (PD) Operating Model
  • The development of a governance framework, including supporting processes and procedures, that support the identification, scoping and analysis of existing and emerging learning and PD priorities at an appropriate level of detail to inform effective executive decision making, and
  • The identification, scoping, analysis and implementation of interim technology systems required to effectively inform, manage, report and evaluate the effectiveness of priority learning and PD activities.

  • Role Purpose;

    Lead and manage the identification, scoping, analysis and implementation of change management, stakeholder management and communication activities required to effectively support the range of outcomes required of the sub-projects within the Learning and Professional Development Operating Model project.

    Roles and responsibilities;
    • Lead and manage projects and project team members to achieve outcomes within critical timeframes
    • Work with management colleagues and project team members to develop and progress project, change management and communication activities, including planning, analysis, reporting and integration activities, and evaluate overall project effectiveness
    • Practively build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
    • Prepare submissions, briefs, reports and correspondence of a complex nature relating to the planning coordination and implementation of Learning and Professional Development Operating Model sub-projects and activities

    Knowledge, Skill and Experience Requirements;
    • Project and/or team leadership and/or Change Management experience within a project environment, preferably at a strategic level and/or in a complex organisation
    • Demonstrated ability in the implementation and management of change, stakeholder and communication strategies
    • Project and/or team leadership and/or Change Management experience within a project environment, preferably at a strategic level and/or in a complex organisation
