Pre-Sales Consultant - Cloud Solutions The Company:
Operating for over 30 years, this Service Provider is proudly Australian owned and operated, with offices through metro and regional NSW & Victoria. They have a diverse portfolio of clients and provide a "one-stop-shop" for all technology services, with a strong focus on customising their solutions to suit client needs.

The Role:
This is a key role, reporting to the Head of Technical Consulting, you will be partnering with the sales, operations and technical teams to assist in the build of technical solutions tailored to clients needs to help close their business.
As you will be a Technical Pre-Sales Consultant, you will need to have excellent knowledge of the current technical offerings, as well as the market and all the potential solutions on offer.

  • Working closely with Account Managers to ensure that technical solutions meet all needs.
  • Recognise and suggest potential alternatives to fill client's technical needs.
  • Seeks out input from all decision makers within a potential client to ensure all needs are met.
  • Constantly build awareness of technical solutions, by working with vendors and self study.

Skills & Experience:
  • Five years of Technology experience, including two or more in IT Solutions pre-sales engineering or consulting
  • Have technical knowledge of:
    • Cloud architecture and solutions, ideally Microsoft Cloud solutions.
    • Scoping Managed Services
    • Unified Communications
    • Infrastructure solutions
  • Outstanding interpersonal abilities
  • Responsible for leading the customer interaction, project scoping, managing presales cycles and processes before handling over to architecture and delivery teams
  • Positive, outgoing and customer focused personality

I've had a multifunction printer in the office going on 10 years now. It was a neat bit of kit back in the day -- print, copy, scan, fax -- when printing over WiFi felt a bit like magic. It’s seen better days though and an upgrade’s well overdue. This HP OfficeJet Pro 8730 looks like it ticks all the same boxes: print, copy, scan, and fax. (Really? Does anyone fax anything any more? I guess it's good to know the facility’s there, just in case.) Printing over WiFi is more-or- less standard these days.
