Dragon Age: Origins

I remember rushing home from the Woodlands Mall in the winter of 1998, a saran-wrapped jewel case of Baldur's Gate plucked from the cluttered shelves of Electronic Boutique clutched tightly to my chest. I'd spend the following several months visiting...

Katamari Forever

The poor guy works so incredibly hard, has restored the galaxy numerous times, and does he get any a thank you? A pat on the back? No. Just "it's not good enough" from the narcissistic King. It's just not fair. You hear me, Dad?! I DON'T NEED YOUR AP...

Demon's Souls

My first experience with Demon's Souls dates back to the hustling, bustling, absolutely insane experience that was the 2009 E3 Expo. Notepad in hand, I was lead through Atlus's booth by smiling faces, going hands-on with the latest and greatest from ...

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars

The original sandbox experience strikes back with yet another installation in the stellar Grand Theft Auto franchise. Featuring plenty of PSP exclusive content for newcomers and jaded criminals alike, Rockstar is asking gamers everywhere to leave the...

Brutal Legend

While Tim Schafer's games have earned him a ton of cred with critics and diehard fans, it hasn't always translated into mainstream commerical success (seriously, why didn't you guys buy Psychonauts? It was freaking awesome and should have sold a baji...

GoldenEye re-release not happening

Fanboys everywhere with fond multiplayer memories will be sorely disappointed to hear that a GoldenEye 007 release is, apparently, not in the works.

Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days

Re-releases are a funny thing. Oftentimes when a game sees a second packaging, it's in name only. Game of the Year editions are notorious for this, regularly slapping an Editor's Choice insignia on the box and toting it at a higher price.

The Beatles: Rock Band

It all comes down to this. For all of the defining moments in my life, few can measure up to the overwhelming sense of triumph and pride that washes over me as I grip my aged Hofner bass in hand and strum the opening notes to "Get Back" to the deligh...

Guitar Hero 5

The Guitar Hero franchise has been a forerunner in the virtual music genre since 2005, but there's no denying that the series has lost some of its luster over the years.

Microsoft announces Fable III, episodic Fable II

At Microsoft's GamesCom press conference, it was confirmed that Fable III will be heading to the Xbox 360 with a host of new features. Lionhead's Creative Director Peter Molynuex was around to give a few words about the new project.

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra

Another summer movie, another video game tie-in. A simplistic action-packed escapade through and through, G.I. Joe never quite amounts to much more than "just another shooter."

Little King's Story

An intriguing blend of real time strategy, life development and role playing action, Little King's Story proves itself as a fun-filled and wholly engaging experience for even the most jaded gamer, all wrapped up in a deceptively cute package.

BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger

After a less-than-stellar change of pace with the 360 exclusive Guilty Gear: Overture, Arc Systems has returned to their fighting game roots with their latest epic brawler, BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger - and trust me when I say, it was worth the wait.

Flower, Sun and Rain

I was always convinced that the hardest review I'd ever have to do write would be for Noby Noby Boy, in the case that - while the game was fun - I was pretty confident that reality would come crashing down around me if I tried to put it into words. I...

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor

Atlus' latest installation in its prestigious role-playing series takes the franchise's tried and true demon-summoning roots and introduces them to the Nintendo DS in this flawed, but fun-filled SRPG.

HP OfficeJet Pro 8730

I've had a multifunction printer in the office going on 10 years now. It was a neat bit of kit back in the day -- print, copy, scan, fax -- when printing over WiFi felt a bit like magic. It’s seen better days though and an upgrade’s well overdue. This HP OfficeJet Pro 8730 looks like it ticks all the same boxes: print, copy, scan, and fax. (Really? Does anyone fax anything any more? I guess it's good to know the facility’s there, just in case.) Printing over WiFi is more-or- less standard these days.
