<p>Priority 1 Solutions appointed to incorporate Tumbleweed security offerings into private organizations and government agencies throughout Australia</p>
<p>Sydney, Aust. – September 24, 2007 – Tumbleweed® Communications Corp. (NASDAQ: TMWD), an industry leader in content security and managed file transfer, today announced continued expansion in its Tumbleweed Alliance Program (TAP) in the Asia Pacific region with the signing of an additional premier reseller for its Australian territory. Priority 1 Solutions has joined Tumbleweed’s premier partner program to help meet the demand across private sector and government organisations for innovative, reliable and easy-to-use messaging security solutions.</p>
<p>The announcement further reinforces the company’s momentum in the region and is an extension of the company’s channel partner program, TAP. Launched in July 2007, TAP enables qualified security resellers to sell Tumbleweed’s email security, file transfer security and identity validation products while providing favorable margins and a variety of customer-facing marketing programs.</p>
<p>"We are really pleased to be joining the Tumbleweed Alliance Program," said Marc Jolly, Priority 1 Solutions' Managing Director. "The Tumbleweed offering has already been very well accepted by a range of private organisations and government departments in Australia. We design and develop security solutions for our client based on their requirements and the Tumbleweed offering will enable us to implement a comprehensive security solution quickly and with a minimum of fuss – something that most IT departments welcome."</p>
<p>For Tumbleweed’s Regional Vice President Asia Pacific and Japan, Stree Naidu, the addition of Priority 1 signals the continuing success of the regional TAP concept.</p>
<p>“It is a strong endorsement of our recently launched channel program. This further underscores the demand among Australian organisations and government agencies to integrate security into their everyday business operations and transactions. With the Tumbleweed focus on managing, protecting and extending internet communications for many of today’s enterprises, the appointment of another sales partner will continue to drive our growth in the region.”</p>
<p>Tumbleweed Alliance Program
Tumbleweed has attracted top-tier resellers with a channel program that is innovative and distinguished from the rest. Featuring unmatched program benefits and product margins, Tumbleweed tapped its premier partner advisory committee to ensure that TAP is one the most channel-friendly programs. The TAP benefits include:
• Ease of adoption – Complete onboarding program with tools and training designed to drive immediate success
• Favorable margins – Strong revenue potential across all product lines and professional services
• Outstanding growth opportunity – Distinguished product lines offer growth opportunities for national and regional channels and those with niche traction in verticals such as retail, technology, manufacturing, insurance, and energy
• Strength and stability – An established leader in messaging security, Tumbleweed has made sizeable channel investments, which will only continue to grow
• Innovative programs – That help partners nurture and protect customer deals
