Plantronics Announce Backbeat Go 600 Wireless Headphones

Plantronics have announced its Plantronics BackBeat Go 600 Series.

BackBeat Go 600 comes equipped with dual equalisation modes to allow the listener to alternate between ‘Bass Boost’ and ‘Balanced’ EQ.

Balanced EQ mode is Plantronic’s signature Sound Curve, which is tuned to be the most accurate possible representation of the source audio across all genres of music, according to Plantronics.

BackBeat Go 600 is slim and lightweight with an over-ear design and memory foam ear cushions.

“Our core expertise in headphones, wireless and premium experiences make Plantronics uniquely qualified to give music lovers the best possible immersive stereo experience at an affordable price point,” said Greg Miller, director of portfolio business management, Personal Solutions, Plantronics.

“Plantronics’ baseline standard in all of our products is to provide superior audio, consistent with that found in our premium products.”

The BackBeat Go 600 headphones come with a rechargeable battery that delivers up to 18 hours of wireless listening on a single charge. They will remain connected at up to 10 metres from Bluetooth compatible smartphones and tablets.

Dedicated on-ear controls allow users to pause, play, skip tracks, adjust volume and take calls, and a wide-band enabled microphone ensures voice clarity, answers calls or hands-free access to Siri, Google Now and Cortana.

“Using advanced acoustic technology, the BackBeat GO 600’s dual EQ modes deliver a richness of sound, enabling listeners to enjoy an all-consuming audio experience without the high price tag,” Peter Petrides, National Sales Manager, Australia and New Zealand.

“We’re excited for this product to launch in Australia and foresee it becoming a favourite for people with a discerning ear for quality audio.”

The BackBeat Go 600 Series is available now at Amazon and Tech2Go for $149.99.
