Sony Bring Xperia XZ1 to NZ

Sony Mobile has confirmed that they'll be bringing their new Xperia XZ1 to customers in New Zealand.

Xperia XZ1 is an exciting addition to the New Zealand market, showcasing Sony’s latest cutting-edge technologies, helping to create a whole new world of possibilities for its users” said John Featherstone, Managing Director of Sony Mobile Oceania.

Available exclusively through 2degrees (both online and in retail stores) Sony say the Xperia XZ1 is "a guaranteed game-changer in the smartphone space."

2degrees Head of Product, Gavin Costello puts the spotlight here on the Xperia's new features, saying "Sony’s 3D Creator brings something truly unique to the mobile market and combined with the Xperia XZ1 is a great option for 2degrees customers".

The big hook for the XZ1's 13-megapixel camera, the Sony 3D Creative allows for fast and easy 3D scanning of objects. Once scanned, users are then able to upload their creations to online 3D communities or deploy within the camera's AR mode.

Outside of that, the Sony Xperia XZ1 also boasts a full HD HDR display, support for near Hi-Resolution audio, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and IP68 protection against water and dust damage.

According to Featherstone, "With ground-breaking Motion Eye camera technology, Super Slow Motion video and new Predictive capture, Xperia XZ1 offers endless possibilities all within a sleek, compact design."

The Xperia XZ1 is available exclusively through mobile operator 2degrees. The device is currently available in ‘Black’ for $999 NZD or $41 per month on the $55 Pay Month Carryover Plan.

Additional availability through Sony is expected later in the month.

It’s easy to set up, it’s compact and quiet when printing and to top if off, the print quality is excellent. This is hands down the best printer I’ve used for printing labels.

The print quality also does not disappoint, it’s clear, bold, doesn’t smudge and the text is perfectly sized.
