ASUS Announces Two New Entries into the VivoBook Range with the VivoBook 14 and VivoBook 15

The ASUS VivoBook 14 X405 provides a combination of beauty, performance and portability. This 14 inch device is only 18.75mm thick and weighs 1.3kg, making it the perfect device to get work done on the go.

The compact ASUS VivoBook S15 S510 is a 15.6 inch device that is 17.9mm thick and weighs just 1.7kg. It fits easily into a messenger bag or backpack. This device has a comfortable, ergonomic keyboard with white backlighting and an integrated fingerprint sensor that allows for easy one-touch, password free login with Windows Hello.

The VivoBook 14 and VivoBook 15 are powered by the latest 7th Generation Intel Core i7 processor, with up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM and optional NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics for smooth visuals and a great gaming experience. They also feature dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi for superfast wireless network connections, as well as Bluetooth 4.2.

In both devices, dual storage capabilities offer the best of both worlds, with the high speed performance of an SSD and the large storage capacities of a HDD. You can install apps on the SSD for superfast response times, and use the HDD to house large files such as music, movies and photos.

The reversible USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port makes it easier to connect devices and provides fast data transfer. For maximum convenience and compatibility, both devices also feature a USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A port, two USB 2.0 ports, one HDMI port and an SD card reader.

The charging ports of both the VivoBook 14 and the VivoBook 15 support ASUS’s fast charging technology that charges an almost empty battery up to 60% in just 49 minutes.

The ASUS VivoBook 14 X405 is available now in Australia from the ASUS shop and select channel partners, starting at $1,099 AUD. The ASUS VivoBook 15 S510 starts at $1,599 AUD.

MSI GT75 TITAN

I need power and lots of it. As a Front End Web developer anything less just won’t cut it which is why the MSI GT75 is an outstanding laptop for me. It’s a sleek and futuristic looking, high quality, beast that has a touch of sci-fi flare about it.
