Vodafone now selling 4G-enabled Samsung Galaxy Ace 3

Telco to sell budget smartphone to pre-paid customers for $249

Vodafone has added Samsung’s 4G-enabled Galaxy Ace 3 smartphone (GT-S7275) to its portfolio and will sell it to pre-paid customers for $249.

The Galaxy Ace 3 is designed to bring 4G speed to users who are not looking to invest in a premium smartphone. While it provides access to Vodafone’s 4G network – which was launched on June 12 and made available to pre-paid customers on October 17 – the smartphone has specifications to meet its price point.

Inside the 4G model is a dual-core, 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor which is accompanied by 1GB of RAM. The configuration runs Google’s Android 4.2 Jelly Bean platform which, as expected, is overlayed with Samsung’s TouchWiz interface.

Internal storage is available in the form of 8GB, but can be expanded up to 64GB via the microSD card slot.

The Galaxy Ace 3 contains a 4-inch screen with a 480x800-pixel resolution. It has a pixel density of 233ppi.

Other features include a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash, a standard front-facing VGA camera for video calls, and a 1800mAh battery.

As the Maserati or BMW of laptops, it would fit perfectly in the hands of a professional needing firepower under the hood, sophistication and class on the surface, and gaming prowess (sports mode if you will) in between.
