Ubisoft and EA confirmed for EB Games Expo 2013

Leading game publishers to showcase their new games at EB's annual event

Ubisoft and EA will be returning to the EB Games Expo in Sydney, which will be held at the Sydney Showground in Olympic Park from 4 October until 6 October.

With Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag scheduled for release on 31 October, visitors to the EB Games Expo will be able to see and play the game at Ubisoft's booth first hand. A member from the development team will also be in attendance to share their experience of working on the new title. In addition to the booth, Ubisoft will also be setting up a pirate ship ride outside the convention hall to get people in the mood for the game.

EA will also be showcasing its latest games at the event, with The Sims 4 confirmed to make an appearance. In particular, the new Create-A-Sim feature will be showcased. This feature will allow players to customise their Sim more than ever before, such as adjusting their walk style to match their personality.

Wargaming, the publisher which made a splash at this year’s PAX Australia in Melbourne with its World of Tanks game, will also be attending EB Expo. The publisher will hold the Australian National Final of the World Cyber Games (WCG) on the second day of the event.

In the meantime, check out the photos we took at last year’s event:

HP OfficeJet 250 Mobile Printer

The HP OfficeJet 250 Mobile Printer is a great device that fits perfectly into my fast paced and mobile lifestyle. My first impression of the printer itself was how incredibly compact and sleek the device was.

Wireless printing from my iPhone was also a handy feature, the whole experience was quick and seamless with no setup requirements - accessed through the default iOS printing menu options.

A smarter way to print for busy small business owners, combining speedy printing with scanning and copying, making it easier to produce high quality documents and images at a touch of a button.

HP OfficeJet Pro 8730

I've had a multifunction printer in the office going on 10 years now. It was a neat bit of kit back in the day -- print, copy, scan, fax -- when printing over WiFi felt a bit like magic. It’s seen better days though and an upgrade’s well overdue. This HP OfficeJet Pro 8730 looks like it ticks all the same boxes: print, copy, scan, and fax. (Really? Does anyone fax anything any more? I guess it's good to know the facility’s there, just in case.) Printing over WiFi is more-or- less standard these days.

I’d happily recommend this touchscreen laptop and Windows 10 as a great way to get serious work done at a desk or on the road.
