The telco had previously confirmed that the BlackBerry Z10 would be available in stores from today and announced pricing details last week.

The Z10 is sold on Telstra's $60, $80 and $100 plans, as well as the $130 'Unlimited' plan. Handset repayments are required on the $60 plan but avoided on the $80 and $100 plans, and the $130 unlimited plan.

The hero plan appears to be a $7 monthly handset repayment on the $60 Telstra plan over 24 months ($67 per month), making it $1 more expensive than Optus' $60 plan for the Z10.

This Telstra plan includes $600 worth of calls and MMS messages, unlimited SMS messages and 1GB of data per month.

In addition to consumer plans, Telstra will also sell the BlackBerry Z10 on a range of business plans.

Telstra will sell both black and white variants of the BlackBerry Z10, with the white variant available exclusively through the telco until Wednesday 26 June.

The Z10 is the first smartphone to be released under the reinvented BlackBerry brand. The Canadian giant announced in January that it was rebranding its company name from Research In Motion (RIM) to a single "BlackBerry" brand.

It is also the first device to use the new BlackBerry 10 operating system, which the company says has been completely revamped from the ground up. The software utilises a combination of gestures to navigate around the interface with no physical back or home buttons.

If you can afford the price tag, it is well worth the money. It out performs any other laptop I have tried for gaming, and the transportable design and incredible display also make it ideal for work.
