
Following the release of Hitman: Absolution last year, developer IO Interactive has been collecting various bits of data and statistics about players.
For one, gamers have shown a preference to Agent 47’s trademark Silverballer pistols when it comes to taking down enemies, with the ‘King of Chinatown’ getting the dubious honour of being the most killed character so far.
Another interesting game fact is over 1.3 trillion dollars has been collectively earned by players in the Contracts component of the game, with the most-played Contract on each platform garnering over 500,000 plays.
The data has been pulled from the online enabled Contracts mode, which is the first ever online mode in the Hitman series, where players create their own custom hits on targets with their weapon and location of choice.
Created contracts can be shared with friends or the whole Hitman community and earned money can go towards unlocking weapons, upgrades and disguises.
PC World went hands on with Hitman: Absolution following its release and found the game to be enjoyable, both in the single player and Contracts models.
