Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch out now in A/NZ

PlayStation 3 role playing adventure available in both retail and digital download

PlayStation 3 role playing game, Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, in available now domestically at retailers and on the PlayStation Store.

Developed by Level-5, the studio behind the Dragon Quest and Professor Layton titles, the game stars a boy named Oliver who goes on a quest to save his mother.

The game’s title, translated from Japanese as “two worlds,” refers to the two realities the player visits during the course of the adventure.

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch utilises the recognisable art style of Studio Ghibli, the Japanese animation studio known for works such as 2001’s Spirited Away and 2004’s Howl’s Moving Castle.

Famed composer Joe Hisaishi, who has scored many of Studio Ghibli’s productions, provides the game’s score that is performed by the Japanese Philharmonic Orchestra.

The game features both English and Japanese voiceovers, as well as French, Italian, German and Spanish texts

To celebrate the launch of Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, Namco Bandai is giving away two exclusive familiars, Draggle and Golden Hurly, developed especially for the Western release.

Players can redeem them by connecting the game to the PlayStation®Network.
