Naruto Powerful Shippuden coming to Australia on March 7

Side-scrolling action fighting game for 3DS dated

Namco Bandai has set the date for the Australian release of Naruto Powerful Shippuden for March 7.

Developed by Inti Creates with help from CyberConnect2, Naruto Powerful Shippuden is a side-scrolling action fighting game based on the popular Naruto franchise.

The game itself is not based on the main Naruto series but on the spin-off, Rock Lee & his Ninja Pals.

The spin-off focuses on the daily life and training of Rock Lee, a ninja who does not use ninja skills but excels in hand-to-hand combat.

The series has no relevance to the main plot of the main Naruto Shippuuden series, and instead focuses on comical scenes and storylines that emphasise the characters' ambitions and ideas.

Unlike Naruto, which is already established in the West and known by the public, Naruto Powerful Shippuden is a new addition to the Naruto franchise, having only begun serialisation in Japan early last year.

While an anime adaptation of Naruto Powerful Shippuden (known as “Rock Lee no Seishun Full-Power Ninden” in Japan) has been airing regularly since April 2012, a Western release for the series has yet to be announced.

The game will come with a single player Story mode, as well as an Endless Battle mode so players can choose to either follow a progressive storyline or just take part in ninja showdowns.

Characters can be powered up by gathering experience points and the touch screen can be used to strengthen special attacks.

In addition to Rock Lee, Naruto Uzumaki from the Naruto Shippuden series is also a playable character in the game.

Fan favourite characters such as Kakashi, Sakura, Gaara, and others will appear in the game and can be called upon as support in the midst of battle.

Unlike past Naruto games, which adopted an art style similar to the one in the original work, Naruto Powerful Shippuden features oversized caricature heads, and humorous on-screen expressions and actions aimed at appealing to gamers of all ages.

As such, the game has been designed to be a pick-up-and-play title that allows even casual and young gamers to play the game.

A smarter way to print for busy small business owners, combining speedy printing with scanning and copying, making it easier to produce high quality documents and images at a touch of a button.

HP OfficeJet Pro 8730

I've had a multifunction printer in the office going on 10 years now. It was a neat bit of kit back in the day -- print, copy, scan, fax -- when printing over WiFi felt a bit like magic. It’s seen better days though and an upgrade’s well overdue. This HP OfficeJet Pro 8730 looks like it ticks all the same boxes: print, copy, scan, and fax. (Really? Does anyone fax anything any more? I guess it's good to know the facility’s there, just in case.) Printing over WiFi is more-or- less standard these days.

Ultimately, I think the Windows 10 environment is excellent for me as it caters for so many different uses. The inclusion of the Xbox app is also great for when you need some downtime too!

For me, the Xbox Play Anywhere is a great new feature as it allows you to play your current Xbox games with higher resolutions and better graphics without forking out extra cash for another copy. Although available titles are still scarce, but I’m sure it will grow in time.
