Sony has announced that its subscription-based music service Music Unlimited is now available on the iPhone and iPod touch, with an app released today.
The Music Unlimited app is free, but users must sign up for a Music Unlimited account with Sony at an ongoing monthly cost of $4.99 for the Basic plan and $12.99 for the value-added Premium.
Streaming from Sony’s servers, the Music Unlimited service has over 15 million songs from all major US labels. It is already available on a range of Sony devices including the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, all new BRAVIA TVs, Sony tablets and Sony smartphones.
