I actually kind of like Adam Sessler (see Sessler's cathartic Soapbox, "Killzone Mailbag"), though I have no idea what to make of Morgan "like huge frigging dragons!" Webb. And Bethesda's been a favorite developer for me personally since Morrowind. So I'm sort of geek-twitterpated by videos like this G4TV The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim walkthrough with the game's director, Todd Howard.

Besides L.A. Noire and The Witcher 2 (both out now), Uncharted 3, and BioShock Infinite, Skyrim's the game I'm most looking forward to this year (well, those five, plus Dark Souls, which just got an October 4, 2011 North American release date).
Geek revelations (in the Skyrim video) that got my attention:
Howard: "It's for us in all the little things that you're seeing here, like plants, micro-detail, big epic things like mountains--you can walk to the top of that mountain. So we really deal with levels of detail, streaming that in. We have to draw everything, we can't hide it."
Though geek stuff that got my attention for the wrong reasons:
Sessler, at one point in the interview: "People are already shouting 'game of the year'."
Can I get an amen for electro-shocking people that bleat as much about stuff they've only seen in staged, non-interactive demos?
