Samsung has today announced what it claims to be the world's lightest and thinnest Core i5 Sandy Bridge laptop computer. The Samsung Notebook Series 9 (NP900X3A-A01AU) is made out of duralumin (a type of aluminium alloy) and is said to weigh 1.31kg with a 6-cell battery. Samsung claims that it's only 16.3mm at its thickest point.

The ultraportable notebook has a 13.3in screen and it ships with an Intel 2nd Generation Core i5-2537M CPU, which has a frequency of 1.4GHz, two cores, Hyper-Threading and 3MB of cache. To keep and weight down and to minimise heat and noise, the Series 9 uses a 128GB solid state drive rather than a conventional spinning hard drive. It has 4GB of DDR3 SDRAM and it makes use of Intel's integrated HD 3000 graphics. Because it's a thin ultraportable laptop, it doesn't have a built-in optical drive.

Other features include Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, USB 3.0 (1), USB 2.0 (1), microphone and headphone ports and a webcam. Unlike most notebooks, the Series 9 has a mini-HDMI and a micro-SD card slot, rather than a full-sized HDMI port and SD card slot.

The Samsung Series 9 NP900X3A-A01AU costs $2499 and it comes with Windows 7 Home Premium.

It’s easy to set up, it’s compact and quiet when printing and to top if off, the print quality is excellent. This is hands down the best printer I’ve used for printing labels.

The print quality also does not disappoint, it’s clear, bold, doesn’t smudge and the text is perfectly sized.

The Huddle Board’s built in program; Sharp Touch Viewing software allows us to easily manipulate and edit our documents (jpegs and PDFs) all at the same time on the dashboard.

The biggest perks for me would be that it comes with easy to use and comprehensive programs that make the collaboration process a whole lot more intuitive and organic
