Kogan LivePrice sells over $320,000 of products on launch day

Kogan early-bird pricing system for TVs and home entertainment products is a "massive success"

Online-only electronics retailer Kogan has announced what it calls a "massive success" for the first day of its LivePrice early-bird pricing system, with $329,965 of orders placed since its launch on the morning of February 2.

A total of 861 products have been sold via LivePrice so far on the Kogan Australia Web site, with an average value of $383.23 spent on each. Twenty products ranging price from $139 to $2229 are available to purchase using LivePrice — at the time of writing, buying a product using LivePrice results in a saving of between 25 and 30 per cent, with a 40in LED TV currently available for $731 instead of its $1049 retail price.

Kogan's LivePrice system was first launched on the company's UK Web site, Kogan.co.uk.
