Kaspersky reveals minor porn problem

Millions of attempts by minors to access porn Web sites every day

Antivirus provider Kaspersky Lab has released data showing that there are more than 4 million attempts by minors to access pornographic Web sites each day.

The data, which was collected via Kaspersky’s security technology network, indicates that more than 160,000 computers with the vendor's "parental control" software installed attempted to access pornographic content every hour.

According to Kaspersky Lab, the peak time for attempts to enter porn sites is 11pm.

"I think that people are making the first positive step in using their security controls, but the next step is to take this data and limit what their children are attempting to access", Nigel Hedges, technical services manager at Kaspersky, told PC World. "It’s not enough just to turn these features on, they now need to take the next step and take personal control."

I need power and lots of it. As a Front End Web developer anything less just won’t cut it which is why the MSI GT75 is an outstanding laptop for me. It’s a sleek and futuristic looking, high quality, beast that has a touch of sci-fi flare about it.
