Samsung's Omnia 7 is the first Windows Phone 7 smartphone to come with a 4in, Super AMOLED screen, making it an attractive proposition for multimedia buffs.
Exclusive to Optus in Australia, the Samsung Omnia 7 is powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, has 8GB of internal memory and has a 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording. The Omnia 7 also includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS.
The Samsung Omnia 7 also comes with "Now hub" which offers access to world news, weather, stocks and a daily schedule. The hub can be pinned to the Windows Phone 7 start screen as a tile for quick access.
The Samsung Omnia 7 will be available exclusively through Optus from 21 October for $0 upfront on Optus' $79 cap plan.
