First 12TB network storage server from Seagate

Seagate has announced the BlackArmor NAS, a four-bay network storage server filled with 3TB drives for up to 12TB of storage

Has your small business outgrown its current network storage? Do you want space for all of your TV shows, games, and HD videos? Seagate might have the solution for you with its BlackArmor network-attached storage (NAS) system, with four bays that can take 3 terabyte drives for a grand total of 12 terabytes of sweet, sweet storage.

Seagate claims that these drives will deliver maximum uptime as well as the software management tools to help businesses with about 50 employees store and share data. The BlackArmor servers purport to have "powerful hardware-based encryption" to keep your data safe, as well as support for Microsoft's Active Directory for controlling which users and groups have access to your server.

Configured with RAID to protect your data, BlackArmor also has the TimeMachine-like SafetyDrill+ software for providing backups and restore points for your PCs. There are even USB ports so you can add more storage, a printer, or a UPS (uninterruptable power supply). However, the 12TB BlackArmor NAS 440 will cost you about $1,900, and the BlackArmor NAS 220 6TB version ships for $650.

What would you do with 12TB of space? Fill it up with lolcats? Back up all of Wikipedia?

As the Maserati or BMW of laptops, it would fit perfectly in the hands of a professional needing firepower under the hood, sophistication and class on the surface, and gaming prowess (sports mode if you will) in between.
