Microsoft ended its E3 2010 press conference with the announcement of a new Xbox 360 machine, which will be available worldwide later in the week. The new console, which will retail for US$299.99, is significantly smaller than current models; the vanilla Xbox 360 Arcade and the Xbox 360 Elite system.

It will also come with a hefty 250GB hard drive and — for the first time — built-in 802.11N wireless (previous Xbox 360s required the use of a Wi-Fi adaptor, sold separately]. Microsoft has also promised that its new machine is "whisper quiet".

The new Xbox 360 has not been officially named, but most people have taken to calling the Xbox 360 Slim, due to its similarity to Sony's shrunk-down PlayStation 3, the PS3 Slim.

I need power and lots of it. As a Front End Web developer anything less just won’t cut it which is why the MSI GT75 is an outstanding laptop for me. It’s a sleek and futuristic looking, high quality, beast that has a touch of sci-fi flare about it.
