From 11 March, Australian gamers will be able to get their hands on the latest guise of the Nintendo Wii. Imaginatively dubbed 'Black Wii', the new version of the popular console is finished in a sleek black colour -- much like the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 Elite.
Retailing for $399.95, the Black Wii will come bundled with a black Wii Remote, a black Nunchuk and the game Wii Sports. Personally, we think Nintendo should have gone with a grittier game to match the sinister noir aesthetic. (Although convincing your mum to buy a Manhunt 2/MadWorld bundle would probably be a bit tricky.)
On the plus side, the Black Wii is sure to fit in with the rest of your home entertainment system, instead of standing out like a ghostly, pallid thumb. Black Wii Remotes can also be purchased separately for $69.95 a pop.
