Valve details upcoming Left 4 Dead 2's Versus tweaks

Valve has updated its Left 4 Dead blog with details of an upcoming update to L4D2's Versus mode. The two most major tweaks come in the form of adding bots to the special infected side, and removing auto-spawning in the finale sequences, presumably for a system that allows players to pick the area where their special infected will rise from the dead.

Valve cited internet forum fan feedback as a factor for the change to the finale spawning system, while also divulging statistics of high survival rates for finales. In particular, Valve noted that the Dark Carnival finale currently has a 50 percent survival rate, a number the company hopes to drive further down with another update.

In the post, Valve also provided an update on the progress of the game's upcoming DLC, The Passing, stating that the company is set to record new voiceovers for the campaign, with the actor playing Nick set to kick things off. Hopefully, they'll invite the original game's cast in to chat it up, too.

MSI GS75

As the Maserati or BMW of laptops, it would fit perfectly in the hands of a professional needing firepower under the hood, sophistication and class on the surface, and gaming prowess (sports mode if you will) in between.
