F-Secure’s latest antivirus solutions are the best of breed, according to test results from the independent research organisation F-Secure achieved the highest possible Advanced+ result in five categories that test the key features of a security product – showing an exceptional level of performance for the 2010 version.

Indi Siriniwasa, Regional Director for Australia and New Zealand at F-Secure, says, “We are very proud to have a straight flush of Advanced+ scores in the tests for our 2010 antivirus products. This is the result of our long-term dedication to product development and our commitment to delivering outstanding performance without compromising security.”

is an Austrian non-profit organisation providing independent antivirus software tests free to the public. In late 2009 it carried out comprehensive tests on the 2010 versions of all antivirus products on the market in six tests.

Indi Siriniwasa says, “The outstanding results in the performance test show that F-Secure has listened to the needs of its customers. A smaller overall system impact, less memory use and faster scanning mean a faster and smoother operation, so our customers get the most out of their computers while staying fully protected. I’m also pleased that has highlighted F-Secure’s redesigned and easy-to-use graphical interface.”

The test results from show that F-Secure’s antivirus solutions have a negligible system impact but are blazing fast and efficient in detecting and removing all Internet threats. In the WorldBench test used by the organisation (an industry-recognised performance test that simulates real-world computer usage), F-Secure’s product slowed down a computer by only 3.6% compared to a computer not having any antivirus. The industry average impact is 11.1%.
