<p>San Diego, California, 6th January 2010 – VIA Telecom, Inc, a leading innovator and developer of CDMA chipsets, today announced its participation in the Open Handset Alliance™ to enhance the mobile experience and extend the reach of 3G communications and entertainment into new markets.</p>
<p>VIA Telecom’s CDMA baseband processors are ideally suited to Android-based handsets, supporting high performance 3G EVDO data functionality within Android, providing a smoother connectivity experience for users.
