Phoenix Wright gets his WiiWare day in court

Original DS game coming to WiiWare next week

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney makes his way to WiiWare Monday, January 11 priced at 1,000 Wii Points, according to a press release sent out by Capcom this morning.

The game is a straight-up port of the original DS adventure that won our approval in 2005. The only new feature is the addition of motion controls to the courtroom drama; for example, players can present evidence by flicking the Wii Remote or press witnesses during cross-examination by waggling.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney launches on WiiWare with the original episodes of the game as it was release in Japan ready to play. The bonus episode that came with US retail copies hits WiiWare in May for an additional 100 points. Keep an eye out for news of the other two Ace Attorney games -- Justice for All and Trials and Tribulations -- in the coming months as Capcom lines them up for WiiWare releases.

As the Maserati or BMW of laptops, it would fit perfectly in the hands of a professional needing firepower under the hood, sophistication and class on the surface, and gaming prowess (sports mode if you will) in between.
