BlackBerry users get free Australian shopping app

New iDumpit app reserves new products and allows BlackBerry users to set personal shopping preferences

iDumpit's online store will now be available as an app on BlackBerry smartphones

Australian BlackBerry smartphone users now have access to a free, online shopping application following the launch of the iDumpit app.

iDumpit is an online clearance outlet that sells a range of products including sportswear, office furniture, jewellery, luggage and wine. iDumpit claims it has built relationships with a wide range of vendor partners in order to offer items significantly cheaper than the recommended retail price (RRP).

The iDumpit app will reserve new products for the first 24 hours for BlackBerry users, and a number of specials on the site will also be available through the free app.

Another handy feature is that it also allows BlackBerry users to set their personal category preferences -- and an alert is sent if there's a match with the specific product specials. This feature prevents users from being sent information about product categories they aren't interested in.

Other features include the ability to select favourite items for repeat purchases, and an encrypted payment process via SecurePay and PayPal.

BlackBerry users can download the iDumpit app by pointing their browser to www.idumpit.com.au/bb. The iDumpit app is available on the BlackBerry Bold, BlackBerry Storm and BlackBerry Curve 8900 models.

The HP OfficeJet 250 Mobile Printer is a great device that fits perfectly into my fast paced and mobile lifestyle. My first impression of the printer itself was how incredibly compact and sleek the device was.

A smarter way to print for busy small business owners, combining speedy printing with scanning and copying, making it easier to produce high quality documents and images at a touch of a button.

I've had a multifunction printer in the office going on 10 years now. It was a neat bit of kit back in the day -- print, copy, scan, fax -- when printing over WiFi felt a bit like magic. It’s seen better days though and an upgrade’s well overdue. This HP OfficeJet Pro 8730 looks like it ticks all the same boxes: print, copy, scan, and fax. (Really? Does anyone fax anything any more? I guess it's good to know the facility’s there, just in case.) Printing over WiFi is more-or- less standard these days.

I’d happily recommend this touchscreen laptop and Windows 10 as a great way to get serious work done at a desk or on the road.
