Vodafone's Prepaid Mobile Broadband Starter Pack has been reduced to $129.

Vodafone's Prepaid Mobile Broadband Starter Pack has been reduced to $129.

Vodafone Australia has cut pricing for its prepaid mobile broadband service, reducing the price of the Mobile Broadband Starter Pack from $149 to $129 — or $119 for users who purchase online.

Vodafone also announced that customers who activate the starter pack between 22 July and 30 September will receive 2GB of included data instead of the regular 500MB.

"Vodafone’s Prepaid Mobile Broadband gives customers the freedom and benefits of mobile broadband without any strings attached. Now customers can enjoy the rewards of prepaid services and high-speed wireless internet at an even more affordable price," said Helen Tuffy of Vodafone Australia.

Vodafone’s Prepaid Mobile Broadband Starter Pack consists of a USB modem internet stick and 2GB of data.

Users can recharge the prepaid service for $19 (500MB of data), $29 (1GB) or $49 (3GB) and all recharge packs carry a 30-day usage period. Up to 5GB of unused data can be rolled over if users recharge within 30 days of connection or their last recharge.
