O2 resolves internet access issue for iPhone

"Vast majority" of customers have access to web and MMS

O2 has restored internet connections and MMS services for the "vast majority" of its mobile phone customers, including Apple iPhone, iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS users.

Yesterday, the mobile phone network used micro blogging service Twitter to warn its customers that it was having problems with providing web access and MMS functions. It is thought the outage affected hundreds of thousands of UK monthly contract users.

O2, which holds an exclusive deal with Apple to offer the iPhone 3G and 3GS in the UK, said it was investigating the issue and would continue to restore service to those customers still without internet access and MMS functions. The network also said that PAYG customers and those with BlackBerry handsets owners not affected by the outage.

MSI GT75 TITAN

I need power and lots of it. As a Front End Web developer anything less just won’t cut it which is why the MSI GT75 is an outstanding laptop for me. It’s a sleek and futuristic looking, high quality, beast that has a touch of sci-fi flare about it.
