Microsoft confirms Bungie working on new Halo game

And it has nothing to do with the upcoming Halo Wars or the in-limbo Halo Chronicles, says Xbox boss Don Mattrick.

In speaking with MTV News on Tuesday, Mattrick said that Bungie is working on a new Halo game, but that Microsoft didn't want to announce it yet for fear of stealing thunder from their current lineup of games, including Gears of War 2.

Yesterday, Bungie blamed their publisher (now confirmed to be Microsoft) for not allowing them to announce their new game (now confirmed to be Halo related) this week.

"We were looking forward to sharing (a new game announcement) with our fan community during the week of E3," said Bungie President Harold Ryan. "However, those plans were just changed by our publisher."

MSI GT76

It really doesn’t get more “gaming laptop” than this.

Jack Jeffries

MSI GS75

As the Maserati or BMW of laptops, it would fit perfectly in the hands of a professional needing firepower under the hood, sophistication and class on the surface, and gaming prowess (sports mode if you will) in between.

Taylor Carr

MSI PS63

The MSI PS63 is an amazing laptop and I would definitely consider buying one in the future.
