Hassle the Hoff online

David Hasslehoff launches social networking site

A new social networking site has gained 6,000 members since its launch last month. But before you get ready to kill your Facebook and MySpace profiles in favour of the next big thing in social networking, it's worth noting who's behind the venture.

It's none other than 80s Speedo-wearing TV star David 'The Hoff' Hasslehoff. Yup, the US actor most famous for his roles in 80s TV shows Knight Rider and Baywatch has launched Hoff Space.

According to The Hoff, the Official Hasselhoff social network was set up in a bid to stop people impersonating him on MySpace and Facebook.

"A lot of people were coming in posing as me or my children and I had to stop it, so I opened my own. It is going to be fun and I can regulate it," he told BBC Radio 1.

Hoff Space users can message each other, keep up to date on the Hoff's movements through his blog and even upload pics and videos of their idol including Dave's monumental performance of 'I've Been Looking for Freedom' after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Although if I were you, I wouldn't give up on Facebook just yet.

MSI GT76

It really doesn’t get more “gaming laptop” than this.

Jack Jeffries

MSI GS75

As the Maserati or BMW of laptops, it would fit perfectly in the hands of a professional needing firepower under the hood, sophistication and class on the surface, and gaming prowess (sports mode if you will) in between.

Taylor Carr

MSI PS63

The MSI PS63 is an amazing laptop and I would definitely consider buying one in the future.
