Rapidly growing RSA makes key Australian appointments

<p><i>RSA appoints four technical and sales roles in Australia</i></p>
<p>RSA, The Security Division of EMC (NYSE: EMC), today announced the appointment of four new Australian staff members:</p>
<p>• Daniel Zatz to Business Development Manager for Strategic Alliances</p>
<p>• Mason Hooper to Security Sales Specialist, Queensland</p>
<p>• Ian Farquhar to Senior Technical Consultant, Data Security Solutions (DSS)</p>
<p>• Daniel Gardner to Inside Sales Customer Accounts Representative</p>
<p>These four appointments are a reflection of RSA’s continued strong local and regional growth. Mark Pullen, Country Manager, Australia and New Zealand, RSA commented, “Asia-Pacific is the fastest growing region in the world for RSA and in Australia we are continuing to build our team of experienced professionals to ensure we provide customers with quality security solutions and services that enhance business innovation and growth.”</p>
<p>Daniel Zatz brings 20 years of experience in the IT industry in Australia. His role as Business Development Manager for RSA will see him responsible for working with RSA’s strategic partners and educating them on RSA’s solution set, assisting them to discover, develop and close new opportunities in their customer base. Prior to RSA, Daniel was the Product Manager for VeriSign's Managed Security Services (MSS) business in Asia Pacific. Prior to joining VeriSign in December 2004, Daniel was Senior Consultant for Computer Associates' eTrust Security software brand in Australia and New Zealand.</p>
<p>Mason Hooper will be based in RSA’s Brisbane office as Security Sales Specialist for Queensland with responsibilities including strengthening relationships with existing customers and partners in the region, and identifying opportunities to integrate RSA’s expanding portfolio of security solutions. He brings more than 16 years of IT industry experience to RSA. Mason previously held senior technical positions at companies including Novell, Dimension Data and Fujitsu and he has been a trusted advisor to many of Australia’s largest government and commercial organisations.</p>
<p>With more than 15 years in IT security, Ian Farquhar joins RSA as the Senior Technical Consultant for DSS (Data Security Solutions) responsible for assisting businesses to better comprehend and evaluate their data security requirements and protection of sensitive information assets. Most recently Ian worked for Cisco’s Worldwide Security Services Practice as a Network Security Consultant. Prior to that he worked as a Senior Network Security Engineer, specialising in cryptography, risk analysis and corporate governance for Sun Microsystems.</p>
<p>Daniel Gardner comes to RSA from Corporate Express where he was IT Account Manager advising customers on technology purchases from the desktop to the back end. He previously worked for Business Objects. Daniel joins RSA as the Inside Sales Customer Accounts Representative where he will be managing existing customer relationships and ensuring that their requirements are met.</p>
