gotalk launches "best value" prepaid mobile phone caps

<p>Gold Coast telco gotalk today launched a range of prepaid mobile caps directly targeting the 14-28 year old market - or parents attempting to control kid’s mobile costs - and "anyone looking for the best value for money in the prepaid market."</p>
<p>According to CEO Steve Picton, gotalk’s new pre paid capped plans will give parents more power to control excessive teen mobile phone bills – particularly in summer when US research says teenage mobile phone use jumps by more than an hour a day.</p>

<p>CEO Steve Picton said today gotalk’s new capped plans were now “the best value for money in the prepaid market” – and aimed at taking market share from gotalk’s main competition Vodafone and Optus.</p>
<p>“In some areas the new gotalk mobile caps offer TWICE the value of our competition,” Mr. Picton said, “and in the market we are targeting, value for money is the critical factor in selecting a service provider – whether the customer is the parent of a teenage mobile phone user or someone in the cost conscious 20-28 group who just need to control their spend because they live on a budget or have a mortgage.”</p>
<p>“With prepaid you can keep your costs down and never have to worry about going over your cap and incurring much higher rates which can happen on postpaid accounts,” Mr. Picton said.</p>
<p>gotalk’s prepaid caps offer comes in four cap choices:</p>
<p>• Just Charge ($19) = $20 worth of value
• Value Charge ($29) = $180 worth of value
• Super Charge ($39) = $280 worth of value
• Xtra Charge ($49) = $400 worth of value</p>
<p>The caps offer national calls at 39c per 30 secs with 29c flagfall, standard text 25c per 160 characters, photo messaging 75c, voice mail retrieval 20c per 30 sec, and free voice mail deposit.</p>
<p>“At $180 worth of value for just $29, $280 worth of value for $39, and $400 worth of value for $49, the gotalk prepaid mobile caps range offer great value in the very competitive mobile market,” he said.</p>
<p>Included in the caps are: Bonus Credit, SMS and gotalk to gotalk calls. (we cant say free, just that there included in the caps)</p>
<p>“Apart from great rates, 39c per 30 seconds, 29c Flagfall and 25c Text, your credit AND bonus credit can be rolled over for an additional 30 days when recharges within 30days from last recharge”.</p>
