Computer Training Options Strengthens Market Presence with Bigger Offices, Government Grant and Lucrative New Business Win; Appointed Queensland Reseller of Netsuite

 • 01 August, 2007 09:49

Australian owned Computer Training Options (CTO), provider of IT training courses across Australia, has expanded its head office in the Gold Coast to larger premises and opened a second training room. This is due to rapid company development, increasing demands for training and a growing reputation within the IT Training sector.

In addition, CTO is pleased to announce that it has been awarded stages two and three of the Queensland State Government Small Business Accelerator Gant. "This provides CTO with $10,000 worth of funding to implement business expansion, including marketing services and staff training," said Rosy Jansen, Founder and Managing Director of CTO.

After thirteen years, CTO opened the doors to their first training centre in the Gold Coast in July 2005 with only four computers, a handful of clients, and a part time staff member working with Rosy. The Gold Coast Office is now in its third year, and has expanded to eight staff, two computer training rooms, which holds 32 trainees, and more than 2,500 clients in the South East Queensland region alone. CTO Australia wide training has also increased to more than 4000 clients and to more than 300 trainers across Australia.

“Since moving to Queensland, the company has experienced steady progress, registering 100 per cent growth annually for the past three years running, and has just expanded its Gold Coast training centre to cater for these growing demands,” said Rosy.

Up against some of the biggest players in the IT training industry, CTO is also pleased to announce winning a half million dollar contract with a NSW client to rollout Microsoft training for 2,700 trainees Australia wide over the next three months. Rosy understood that CTO won the tender ahead of some of the biggest training companies in Australia based on price, service and the fact that CTO could cover Australia wide to include every capital city and all regional centres.

Furthermore, CTO Business Services has recently signed a partnership agreement with Australia's NetSuite Distributor – NetReturn – to become their Queensland Reseller, assisting Queensland business with NetSuite sales, implementation, training and professional services. NetSuite enables small to medium businesses to manage their clients, finances and ecommerce web sites from one simple integrated solution. It incorporates Accounting/ERP, Customer Relations Management (CRM) and eCommerce components into one complete web based management system. Go to www.netsuite.net.au for further details.

“Being able to manage your business with one simple tool, from anywhere in the world, provides business owners with the opportunity to really track their business growth into the future,” said Michael Hanson, CTO’s Queensland State Sales Manager for Netsuite business tools.

“In order to make the most of an online channel, companies need the tools to gather, analyse and leverage key data about their back and front office operations, vendors and partners, and most importantly, their customers. NetSuite allows you to run your entire eCommerce business more efficiently; your Web store, inventory management, order fulfillment, and accounting systems, as well as your customer relationship management software,” concluded Michael.
