Kinetics PR Goes on New Business Binge

 • 27 July, 2007 09:27

Signs Cisco and 6 other new accounts; appoints two executive directors to strengthen senior client counsel.

Corporate and technology PR agency Kinetics has started the financial year with a string of new business acquisitions, a move to new city premises and key appointments to its senior management team.

The new account wins include Cisco, the worldwide leader in networking and smart phone and pocket PC manufacturer i-mate.

Other wins over the past few months include: Acronis, Aprimo, Computerlinks, Computer Training Options, and Raritan.

“Cisco was a challenging pitch and it was gratifying to win the business against such strong competitors”, said Jody Lennon, CEO and Founder of Kinetics. “It is more than a great technology company; it is a world-class brand in its own right and will complement several Cisco partner companies already placed within our client portfolio.

“The seniority and knowledge of our team, and our hands-on approach to client service were specifically mentioned by several of our new clients as their reasons for selecting Kinetics.”

I-Mate Marketing Manager Allison Caruk commented on the new partnership with Kinetics; “We selected Kinetics after a lengthy pitch process during which the depth of their experience shone through.”

Kinetics has two industry veterans with more than 20 years of experience each and a solid management team where everyone has 10 to 15 years of experience, supported by a strong base of account service people with around 5 years of experience each.

This depth of talent and industry knowledge, coupled with excellent employee and client retention – several clients have been with us for almost a decade – seems to be striking the right note with new business prospects”, said Lennon.

Heidi Osborne, previously Head of Public Relations at Love (part of the Photon Group), has been appointed an Executive Director with Kinetics. Dana Hartwig, whose agency Infinity Communications merged with Kinetics in 2006, has also been promoted to Executive Director. Both are reporting to John Back, General Manager.

Following recent and projected growth at Kinetics Jody Lennon, Founder of Kinetics has been promoted from Managing Director to Chief Executive Officer of the company.

Kinetics also recently moved from Ultimo to Kent Street, Sydney, where it shares space with other companies within the Photon Group including AdPartners.
