ANZ Security Solutions Market to Enjoy Strong Growth to Reach US$1.6 Billion by 2011, Reveals IDC

 • 23 July, 2007 11:36

NORTH SYDNEY, 23rd July 2007 - IDC expects the ANZ security solutions market to grow at a double-digit compound annual growth rate to reach almost US$1.6 billion by 2011. This growth will be driven by three primary factors - the constantly evolving and sophisticated threat landscape; the need to secure new and emerging business enabling technologies; and the increasing pressure from government and industry regulations among other factors.

IDC's latest study, "Australia and New Zealand Security Solutions Forecast, 2007-2011," provides a detailed analysis of the ANZ security solutions market. The report includes an analysis of the current market size and its growth potential through 2011. In addition, it provides insights into the key dynamics shaping this diverse, dynamic and highly competitive market.

"IDC believes security solutions will provide strong growth opportunities for vendors and service providers in the ANZ market. Today organisations are pressured to lower costs, improve operational efficiency, manage risk and maintain a strong security posture against constantly evolving security threats," said Patrik Bihammar, Senior Analyst, Security Solutions, IDC Australia.

"Consequently, customers will demand lower cost, easy management and well-integrated solutions to maintain strong security and low total cost of ownership (TCO). This provides a challenge for security solution providers that need to continue to develop new technologies, business models and strategies to be successful in this highly-competitive market," added Mr Bihammar.

It’s easy to set up, it’s compact and quiet when printing and to top if off, the print quality is excellent. This is hands down the best printer I’ve used for printing labels.
