RSA, The Security Division of EMC, names Geoff Haydon Vice President of Sales, Asia Pacific

<p>Industry veteran fills senior regional leadership role</p>
<p>RSA, The Security Division of EMC (NYSE: EMC), today announced the appointment of Geoff Haydon as Vice President of Sales for the Asia Pacific region. Based in Singapore, Haydon is responsible for growing RSA’s revenues as well as continuing to build a solid partner ecosystem and customer base across the region. Reporting to Jim Bandanza, Worldwide Head of Sales for RSA, Haydon leads a team of regional sales managers accountable for growth in each local market. Haydon is also a member of the regional leadership team, with an additional reporting line to Steve Leonard, President of EMC Asia Pacific and Japan.</p>
<p>Haydon’s appointment provides tremendous value as RSA realises the potential in the Asia Pacific region for customers who seek to implement an information-centric approach to security and secure their critical assets.</p>
<p>“Both RSA and EMC remain very committed to the Asia Pacific region and providing security solutions for business acceleration locally,” said Jim Bandanza. “Geoff’s proven track record in driving sustainable growth and knowledge of customer needs make him a valuable addition to the leadership team.“</p>
<p>In addition to spending almost a decade in the Asia Pacific region, Haydon previously drove strategic business growth in several corporate and field roles at EMC, most recently as Director of Global Commercial ‘Go To Market’ strategy.</p>
<p>Geoff Haydon said, “The opportunity with RSA, a clear visionary and leader in delivering information-centric security as part of the information infrastructure, is an exciting one in a growth market. I look forward to building on the solid growth base already in place and accelerating it to new levels.”</p>
<p>Before joining EMC, Haydon held positions with Datatram Corporation in both Singapore and London, and with Clearpoint Research Corporation in Vancouver and Singapore. Haydon first began his career with EMC in Canada during 1987. Haydon holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario, Canada. He is married with four children.</p>
