They're hardly revolutionary, but Belkin's upgrades to two of their audio player accessories add some nice features. The US$49 TuneCast 3 FM transmitter works with any device that pipes audio through a 3.5-mm jack, broadcasting to FM radios within a 10-foot radius. The LED display has higher contrast than the TuneCast II and provides more status indicators; built-in, ambiguously described "cable management" does away with tangling issues.
The US$149 TuneStage II, like its predecessor, adds a Bluetooth transmitter to your iPod so that you can pipe music to the receiver from up to 33 feet away. Unlike the original TuneStage, you can also pair Bluetooth A2DP headphones or a Bluetooth-enabled car stereo to the transmitter.
Both devices will be available in North America in November 2006.
