NetComm Provides Entry-Level ADSL Modem for Home Office Users

<p>NetComm, a leading provider of broadband, Internet and communications products, has announced the availability of the NB1 single port Ethernet ADSL2+ modem router to the general distribution channel. The unit was previously limited to ISP customers, but strong demand has seen it released for general sale to all markets.</p>
<p>The NB1 is an entry-level modem designed for new broadband users. It is easy to set up and configure and includes a built-in router. The NB1 supports ADSL2+, VPN pass-through, and IP Quality of Service (QoS). The QoS function allows users to allocate priority on certain types of data, which makes the NB1 ideal for use with separate Voice over IP (VoIP) adaptors.</p>
<p>The NB1 is also armed with an advanced security (SPI) firewall to prevent hackers from intruding on a user’s computer. With the NB1, users can play games online, surf the Internet and access email, use VoIP and other broadband tasks quickly and easily.</p>
<p>The NB1 is an ideal Internet ADSL solution for residential and home office users to experience the power and speed of broadband Internet and take the advantage of the next generation of ADSL services.</p>
