Legend and Hyundai sign new distribution deal for LCD Monitors and Televisions

<p>Adelaide, July 24, 2006 - South Australian headquartered Legend Corporation have confirmed a deal with long term partner, Hyundai. Legend will become the master distributor of Hyundai’s LCD monitors and televisions in Australia.</p>
<p>Legend’s relationship with the Korean multinational has spanned over a decade. This agreement will deliver a focused vendor engagement leveraging Legend's current sales teams, logistics hubs and complimentary line card of consumer electronics. This partnership will build on increasing the range of third party products available to Legend’s clients through its existing distribution channel.</p>
<p>“There has always been a strong connection in the market between LEGEND &amp; Hyundai brands in Australia, New Zealand &amp; South Africa,” said Rob Kester, World Wide Sales Director for Legend Corporation. “This partnership formalises our commitment to this relationship while adding a quality product to our range to cement Legend as a key player in the market.”</p>
<p>The partnership product range consists of LCD monitors, LCD &amp; Plasma Televisions, TV tuner enabled LCD monitors &amp; DVB-T digital set top box LCD televisions. These products will be available at leading electrical retail outlets and computer dealers and sales are expected to exceed $20M in the coming financial year.</p>
