Fuji Xerox Printers Launches the DocuPrint C4350

Fuji Xerox Printers brings complete in-house printing and finishing solution to mid-large office users

Sydney, Australia - 1 June 2006 - Fuji Xerox Printers today announces the launch of the DocuPrint C4350, a next generation, colour printing solution that provides professional printing and finishing solutions to mid-large businesses across Australia. The DocuPrint C4350 is ideal for professional or corporate use and pushes the boundaries of printer performance in terms of speed and quality.

The DocuPrint C4350 comes packed with features, is simple to use and is able to handle a wide variety of media, such as banners and posters to watermarks, and deliver industry-leading, high-performance printing capabilities. For instance, it will deliver 35 pages per minute (ppm) for colour printing and 45ppm for mono with standard duplex printing delivered at a speedy 28ppm for colour and 36ppm for mono (speeds relate to A4-size printing). The DocuPrint C4350 is equipped to deliver professional finishing for documents, such as saddle-stitch stapling, hole punching and up to 3,460-sheet stacker functions. It also comes with standard built-in configurations such as Adobe PS3,
Duplex Module, Ethernet 10/100 networking and a USB2.0 port.

Geoff Croshaw, general manager, Fuji Xerox Printers Australia and New Zealand said, "The market demand for high-end, professional standard printers is increasing at a healthy rate and this is for two main reasons. Firstly, demand for cutting-edge printing and finishing solutions, offering users new options and choices, will always enjoy a natural rate of demand for the latest technology. But perhaps most importantly, the price gap between traditional monochrome printers and new, colour laser devices has narrowed so significantly, that when large companies update their IT infrastructure, it becomes cost effective to upgrade to solutions such as the DocuPrint C4350." Croshaw concludes, "Offering arguably the best high-end package on the market, we see a great future for the DocuPrint C4350 in 2006 and beyond."

The DocuPrint C4350 manages to combine professional features and flexibility with being one of the most environmentally friendly machines on the market, particularly in relation to its power-consumption, running costs and the ability to print on recycled paper.

Features of the DocuPrint C4350 include:
- A unique, spherical EA-HG (High Glossy Emulsion Aggregation) toner that offers high quality printing at optimal toner usage
- 3D accurate colour mapping feature for improved colour saturation
- A real 1,200 dots per image (dpi) colour printing engine for enhanced print resolution
- A print life of more than 1.5 million prints (monthly duty cycle of 150,000 prints)
- A 'macro tandem engine' that increases reliability and incorporates more than 20 unique design features such as, varied paper handling, colour rendition, throughput material fixing and CRU replacement
- A warm up speed of under 45 seconds, with a first page to print time of 9.7 seconds (colour)
