Understanding ILM – A SNIA Seminar

<p>SNIA Runs Academy to Educate on ILM and the Information-Centric Enterprise</p>
<p>Sydney, Australia – May 11, 2006 – The Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) ANZ announced details of the first Academy education event for 2006.</p>
<p>To be held in Sydney on May 31st 2006 the all day seminar presents to users and channel companies the latest in ILM standards and thinking.</p>
<p>Recent research carried out by SNIA shows that whilst most companies see the value in ILM, they are concerned about actual implementation. Presented by industry independent technical experts from SNIA member companies, the topics that will be covered include lectures on creating an Information-Centric Enterprise, automating the Information Life Cycle and lectures on data classification.</p>
<p>If you are considering ILM but unsure of how to proceed, this education event is a must. Please go to www.snia.org.au to register, cost is $250 excluding GST less discounts for SNIA members.</p>
