Christmas comes early with NETGEAR

 • 08 November, 2005 10:24

NETGEAR (Nasdaq: NTGR), a leading provider of easy to use, high-performance networking products, is launching a new RangeMax cash back offer that provides customers with a cost-effective way to improve the speed and coverage of their wireless networks.

Between November 25 and January 31, customers who purchase a NETGEAR WPN824 RangeMax Wireless Router and a matching NETGEAR RangeMax adaptor will receive $50 cash back, making it more affordable than ever to upgrade the home network over Christmas.

NETGEAR’s RangeMax family of wireless networking products uses seven Smart MIMO (Multi-In, Multi-Out) antennas to deliver 127 unique antenna patterns which adapt ‘on the fly’ to the network environment by adjusting to RF interference, locations of clients and physical barriers - resulting in extraordinary range and consistent high-speed data transfer performance throughout the home.

“As people invest in new home electronic and IT equipment over the Christmas period, they are increasingly looking for ways to connect and maximise their technology,” said Sue Ponder, Director of Retail and Channel, NETGEAR. “RangeMax offers the perfect solution, delivering up to 1000 per cent more network coverage than standard 802.11g. It’s ideal for the home, providing customers with a consistent stream of data that eliminates dead spots, video freezing and connection drops.

“Our latest cash back offer makes it easier and more cost-effective for people to switch to a propriety set-up and take advantage of the unique benefits this technology has to offer,” Ponder said.

The RangeMax cash back promotion is available through Dick Smiths, Harvey Norman, Leading Edge and Officeworks, and is valid for all NETGEAR RangeMax adaptors including:

WPN511 RangeMax Wireless PC Card
WPN311 RangeMax Wireless PCI Adapter
WPN111RangeMax Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter

To redeem this offer customers must complete a cash back promotional form located online at: www.netgear.com.au/cashback.
